[ pushing 360 on BTM ]

Joe and I worked independently from the BTM team during the first week. Our main coordinator was away on conference the initial three days and no one other than her and our ITC point person were familiar with the nature of us Parsons fellows. That's going to change.

"Bonnie and Clyde" have requested a team meeting twice a week to review project expectations, details, and process. Joe and I value all input from not only the coordinators but the many journalists and reporters of this organization. Only their feedback will aid us to make our work more rich, accurate, and working. These meetings are essential so the success of our tasks reaches the highest potential possible in our 8-week term.

Joe and I are bringing more than just a new website and print material to this NGO. We found that there was no understanding of branding, marketing, and recognition. In our first sit-down meeting with the coordinator we had a simple powerpoint breakdown that defined issues with BTM's current communication vehicles and how Joe and I can turn it around. Thuli (the coordinator) was pleased, impressed, and left smiling - in other words, more aware of what was wrong and the capabilities of the Parsons fellows.

We hope with the introduction of our attitude towards their communication vehicles will only benefit their attempts to gaining sponsorship interest as well as larger public acknowledgment.
