Bad case of Internetlessness

We haven't had internet in the office for the past three days and it is really making life difficult. Luckily BTM has a good relationship with it's neighbor FEW (Forum for the Empowerment of Women). Doris and I have been able to go over there and hook up to their connection. FEW takes up two offices, a larger office located in the prisons courtyard (we work in a renovated prison remember?) the other is smaller, only two rooms, and is just below BTMs office. Most of the day their is only one person in the smaller office and Doris and I aren't in anyones way. Salma is stationed in the back of the small office where Doris and I plug in. Salma lived through the Apartheid as an Indian women. She has led an interesting life and has a lot to say on the topics of race, Apartheid, Capitalism, South African history and politics, Johannesburg's Indian population, and human nature in general. She is very opinionated but is also willing to listen. We have very lively conversations and I can tell she likes our company. I can imagine it getting pretty boring in that little office if all your doing is accounting all day.

I spent my day researching creating a Drupal theme though most of the work went into research and reading tutorials. Drupal seems to have a very complex templating system. Developers can delve deep into module themes or can stick to using plain CSS. Our layout will require some tinkering with the module themes however the bulk will be done in pure CSS. I am looking forward to learning more about this system.

Also Here's a picture of the Weaver Birds finished nest.  original story
