Information Advocacy Center

Today I went to the Information Advocacy Center situated in the Republican Mental Health Center, which is a public hospital.
MHS has 2 rooms in that hospital, it provides books to the patients (donated by the Soros Foundation), newspapers, journals, their monthly newsletter etc... They also let the patients CALL their families.
In this hospital, MHS most importantly protects the rights of the patients, whether in being properly fed, provided good hygiene etc...
One very sad thing though is that epileptic patients are placed with the mentally disabled in these big hospitals while they DO NOT belong there.
I asked why MHS cannot make an effort to change this, they said that it is very hard for something deeply rooted since Soviet communist days to change just like that.
But we'll get there!
