Tech problems, work and the chimp

I'm running into wireless internet issues here, as in sometimes I have it and somedays I don't, and when I do it runs at a seemingly glacial pace, (unlike the 10th floor lab), no excuses though!!! I'm in the midst of designing a template for print reproduction while I wait to be set up to address some web site issues. APCA needs to be able to use the template to design their own publications with InDesign. The challenge is one of inexperience on the staff, understandably. I'm trying to make it sustainable for them, re: simple, and consistent with their present materials.
Need to be spend  more time cleaning up website, starting initial designs for homepage redesign and investigating mailchimp, (which looks like it solves the problem of the newsletter very well)!

Mike, do you have time to train a person or two in InDesign? You may also want to refer them to really simple tutorials online or create your own using a desktop recorder.

I will be training three people in this office how to use Illustrator and InDesign - but probably also create a video tutorial in case we don't have enough time to do in towards the end of my stay.

You can use some free desktop recorders: Snap Proz is a good one and allows a 30-day trial I believe.
